Sweepings
Bob Davis Chimney and Fireplace uses a combination of traditional and modern tools to remove creosote deposits which accumulate from burning any type of solid fuel. We will remove and reinstall the damper valve or fireplace insert and provide a Level 1 or Level 2 Inspection in accordance with the NFPA 211 standards.

Inspections
Bob Davis Chimney and Fireplace offers Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 NFPA inspections. All pre closing inspections are Level 2 inspections, and we recommend a Level 2 inspection on our first visit. This will give us and the homeowner a baseline of knowledge as to the current state of repair or disrepair. We look for items which are a potential hazard, as well as items which may lead to premature deterioration or failure.

Chimney Caps
Bob Davis Chimney and Fireplace has their own fabrication facility, with which we can build correct caps to suit the needs of your chimney. We do not use the lesser, “one size fits all” concept caps, because they simply do not fit any chimney correctly. Our fabrication team constructs standard and custom designed caps in stainless steel and copper. We also can paint or powder coated the stainless steel caps to complement or accent your home. All our caps come with a lifetime warranty against structural defects.

Leak diagnosis
After more than two decades of detecting leak origins, Bob Davis Chimney has become very proficient at determining the root cause of chimney related leaks, and offering sound repair solutions. Our philosophy is to recommend the least amount of repairs to correct the problem.

Relining
Bob Davis Chimney uses both Cast-in-Place masonry chimney linings as well as insulated stainless steel chimney linings. Bob developed a proprietary system of casting masonry liners in shapes previously not available in the cast-in-place relining market almost 20 years ago. Squares, rectangles, and rectovals are all in our arsenal of techniques to give the proper flue sizing while insulating and stabilizing the chimney system. We take on the projects other companies can’t.

Restoration and masonry work
Bob Davis Chimney can repair virtually any masonry chimney whether it needs tuckpointing, or partial to full rebuilding.

Water Proofing
Bob Davis Chimney can waterproof your chimney to shield against leaks and premature masonry failure. Our products have an anticipated life of 10 to 15 years, and we have multiple types of waterproofing agent to choose from. We will recommend the product which we believe will serve the chimney best.
